Mid November already!!!

How did that happen!

Well, maybe time has flown as i haven't stopped recently :) 

Since September i have: 

Had a lovely (working) holiday with Mum and Barney - costume and set design by the sea: 

Then onto full on planning for these two amazing people's 50th Wedding Anniversary:

- a fabulous night for the best parents in the world :)

A slight attack of the (almost) killer kamikazi pheasant - i survived but sadly the Pheasant went off to the fabulous field in the sky:

 Then it was time for some Winter Wonderland fun over at the Tamworth Snowdome: 

With a brief stop off at The Country Living Christmas Fair in London - a lovely week but was so busy i managed to not get any pictures of my stand!!!

So, back home now - all systems go for this fridays live Hochanda show at 2pm - bringing some fabulous new floral ideas and a couple of brand new exclusive wreaths, i shall add some more photos of these asap but here is a little taster: 

So, whats next? Well after Hochanda i have 2 more costume jobs to finish....then: It's Chriiiiistmaaaaaaaaaas! 

Yipeeeee and a lie in, and some catch up TV!!

Getting a bit more social media-ry!

I am useless at keeping up with the social media thing....as you may already be aware  - Hee Hee!

I am taking piles of vintage fabric, heaps of vintage buttons and haberdashery, plus the most loveliest of laces. Craft packs, vintage goodies and soon much more.

We will also be running make and takes from our stand throughout the show - news of which will be added later in the week.

Handmade Weekend Ahead....

This Friday i will be back at the fabulous Kirstie Allsopp's Handmade Fair in the stunning surroundings of Ragley Hall.....i cannot wait!

I will be taking plenty of gorgeous vintage linens and laces, haberdashery, china and more.....plus some new handmade creations

I am so bad...

...at updating... I will try harder...I will ;)

A crazy couple of weeks which included done lovely birthday surprises, scamps on the beach with Barney dog, and new crafty experiences! 

Which leads me to this years challenge.......a new craft a month! I have enjoyed my pottery course so much that I want to keep it going and also learn more... 

So far I have willow weaved (hmmmm...not sure I shall be weaving too much more willow in the foreseeable!) and pottered! 

I love pottery... Wheel throwing to be precise - it is so relaxing and fun and challenging all at once!

It is such a beautiful new studio and a lovely teacher, Sarah who throws some beautiful ceramics! So if you are in the area then have a try at one of her taster sessions!

Week two...the results

February brings Needlefelting .... Now I have dabbled with this a few times but never been taught properly... So hopefully I will find out how to do it properly and not take all the ends of my fingers off as previously has happened!!

As for the rest of the year I am open to suggestions ....answers on a postcard please!!! 

Onto this week though and Friday's is my next Hochanda live show at 2pm so busy busy preparing for that.... It will involve lots of mixed media and altered artwork... A sneak preview of work in progress...

Wow....

.....how long!!!!

Since i last posted it has been months - oops!

So much has happened it will take a month to write this post so i shall keep it short and just keep updating more regularly :)

2017 is bringing its of exciting new projects already - more shows on Hochanda, more theatre costumes, some fabulous shows and events we will be attending (have a look at the newly updated 'Find Us' page for details)
